With the input and support of our current Board Members, the Learning Center was created in order to provide educational and empowering programs for the children, youth, adults, and seniors in our community.
At the Learning Center, we provide a variety of courses in order to improve the skill-set of each individual. Please call our office and ask for Janet Brown, Director of our Learning Resource Center, for the Course Curriculums, course offerings and details. In co-op housing, there is no landlord. Instead, residents (along with hired staff) work together to maintain the co-op, finances, and solve problems that arise. In co-op housing, resident members work together to maintain the management of the co-op through a Board of Directors and committees that address finance, legal, buildings and grounds, member selection, social and communications, and more.

Each resident member should participate within the co-op at least 6 to 10 hours per month. Without the efforts of each resident member, co-op housing does not work.
